CeremonyEvening, approx. 6 to 9 p.m., followed by a joint snack and debriefing

The participants then walk up the forest path (approx. 20 minutes) from the inn through the forest to the ceremony site at the Bergfriedhütte and enjoy the view of the mountains and Lake Millstatt. The participants' luggage is brought up to the site by the leader and fireman in their cars. After a preliminary discussion, the resting place is prepared together, wood is prepared for the fire pit, the sweat lodge is covered and the fire is lit in a ritual with drums and rattles.

Friends who have to work on Saturday and already have Inipi experience can join us until 5.00 pm.

Women during their "Moon time" (days) can take part in the preparation of the ceremony, but are not allowed to enter the sweat lodge for purification.

Important !!!

24 hours before and after the ceremony, participants should no alcohol or other intoxicating substances. Participants who are undergoing medical treatment for an illness and Medication must inform the head of the sweat lodge in advance. The ancient ritual of the Inipi is for Body, mind and soul a powerful Cleansing and awareness work. This requires Respect and humility all.

Please bring:

2 towels, shorts or loose swimming costumes, shirts, scarves, slippers (as for the sauna), possibly a rain jacket, torch, warm clothing and snacks and drinks for the meeting after the cleansing ceremony, drums, rattles and power objects (stones, crystals, amulets etc.) for the altar. Good humour, openness and wishes "New" for your future life and to get to know stressful "Old" to let go.

If you want to spend the night with us in the inipi or outside by the fire, you should bring a mat and sleeping bag.

Equalisation for participation in the sweat lodge (approx. € 50,- depending on the number of participants for wood, stones, organisation etc.) and your personal voluntary donation into the box.

The proceeds from the sweat lodges are used in accordance with the statutes of our association "Mirnock guardian" for Indian aid projects in North and South America.
